Deb and I made a quick up-and-back run to Branson today. It was a necessary trip, but we made it as eventful and pleasant as time allowed. The best of our day is captured in the image gallery below — a warm visit with Outlaw Joe (who, to our delight, remembered us), margaritas and lunch overlooking Lake Taneycomo, incomparable baked goods at Lillie Hobbs.

One year ago today, Deb and I were joined by one of my high-school classmates and her husband for a whirlwind tour of our favorite places in Glacier Park.
