The Wedding Trip (illustrated)

Ubi Libertas Blog has been quiet for a week, owing to a six-day trip to Ohio for the marriage of our younger boy. We took two days driving up, three days there and a spontaneously determined single day pushing back home.

Deb and I are exhausted. We’d planned to spend today bus-bound and recharge, but a text message early this morning had us out on The Mountain to supervise backhoe work — the materials for our house will be delivered tomorrow and we needed to clear a spot to drop them.

We’ve had an extraordinary seven days. Really, I’d like to describe our expedition (and I may do that soon), but all I have the energy for right now are images. Enjoy the (large) galleries, and I’ll catch up with you tomorrow.
