To tell you the truth, I’m not sure there’s much I can say about today. We got up, practiced proper hygiene, loaded the truck and drove to The Mountain. While there we unloaded the truck, hung out with Deb’s cousin on the porch of his cabin and drove back to Harrison.
We didn’t take many photos, but here are a few from the day (with captions).
A neighbor’s garage was open when we arrived, so we stopped to visit.Sparky wanted to come with us.From the porch, we looked through binoculars at landmarks along our route, miles away.My view from the men’s room.On our way back down The Mountain. A couple of hundred feet past this gate, our 20 acres begins on the right side of the road.We paused opposite our driveway to admire the setting sun over Hall Mountain. We met another neighbor today, for the first time. He hunts the land across the road from our homesite.Almost every time we roll off The Mountain, we stop at this crest to take in the view. Our piece of heaven is on the right. One of our favorite liquor stores. We have several.Whimsy at the liquor store counter.
That’s what I have today. Life is good.
Take care of yourselves, Patriots. Stay calm. Stay sharp. Stay free.

Not every image captured on our trailcams is idyllic. This is what showed up yesterday afternoon.
