I had a good chunk of a blog post written this morning. It was a rant, a damned angry rant about something that the current occupant of the Oval Office said yesterday, his latest assault on the individual Liberty of born-free Americans.
And then Deb, Smudge and I traveled to The Mountain. We chatted with Deb’s cousin awhile. We boarded the buggy and ran up to the summit, where we spent hours basking in the warm sun and easy breeze, talking quietly and playing with the puppy.
Cares evaporated. Peace washed over me.
By the time we returned to the motorhome this afternoon I had absolutely no interest in publishing that rant. Maybe tomorrow. My eye’s still on the ball and my mind’s still right, but my soul’s on The Mountain.
So today, my friends, you get a gallery.
Take care of yourselves, Patriots. Stay calm. Stay sharp. Stay free.
