All’s well on The Mountain

Yes, I took some time off from Ubi Libertas Blog. I didn’t plan to do that and I didn’t announce it (as I’ve done twice before), but several days ago — what was it, Saturday? — I found myself running out of both daylight and energy. I didn’t blog.

That day rolled into the next, and with the same result. We hosted guests, family. I marked a birthday, my sixty-sixth. My most favorite holiday, Independence Day, came and went.

A couple of readers reached out to see if I was ok (I am), to make sure that we’re still thrivin’ up on The Mountain (we are). I truly didn’t expect that.

We’re fine. Life is good — very good.

I’m not inclined to play catch-up and write about it, though. Tempting as it may be to pen a detailed recap of the last hundred hours, I’m gonna stick you with a big-ass gallery.
