In case you hadn’t noticed, I’m completely enraptured by the changing seasons. Deb is, too. Time passes more slowly these days, or it seems to here, which has the effect of opening our eyes to the unexpected.
Funny how that works.
Maybe you’re tired of seeing my cell-phone snaps of autumn in Ozarkansas. Maybe the colors are more vibrant where you live, the scenery grander.
Respectfully, and respectively: I don’t care and this ain’t a contest.
There was more yellow on The Mountain today — a lot more, and it happened overnight. I know it wasn’t my imagination. Especially at the south end of our property, across the road and creeping up the steep flanks of Hall Mountain, golden tones have taken over.
From early morning light to perhaps the most dramatic sunset we’ve seen from The Mountain, this (pictured) was our Monday.

Take care of yourselves, Patriots. Stay calm. Stay sharp. Stay free.
