The title of last Monday’s post asserted, “it’s always good.” Turns out that’s not true.
All was not well. I had no way of knowing, nor could I have foreseen how the week would unfold.
For seven days, with the exception of a Facebook post yesterday briefly acknowledging folks who’ve reached out to me, I’ve chosen to be silent. I’m laying low.
It’s all I know to do right now.
I’m not going to tell you why. Don’t ask, and don’t expect me to respond if you do.
If the time comes when I can say with conviction that “life is good” — and provided that circumstances don’t put me in the awful position of having to say more — I’ll never again speak of these troubling, trying days.
And that’s out of my hands.
Ubi Libertas Blog, as well as my presence on social media, will be dark until my light returns. My apologies for that, my friends, and for this correspondingly gloomy post.
