We did it

It happened sometime early this morning. I can’t tell you exactly when, but Ubi Libertas Blog raised the bar — according to WordPress, this site now has recorded more views in 2025 than it has in any year since I launched it in 2020.

(And it’s only the 12th of November.)

That comes on the heels of a new record for visitors to the blog, which currently stands 17% above the previous mark. (Again, 2025 is far from over.) Both stats broke highs set in 2021, the year I chronicled the motorhome journey.

I can sum up my reaction in two words: Thank you.

Ubi Libertas Blog, after 1,762 posts, still isn’t monetized. I don’t promote it beyond sharing links to Facebook, X and Truth.

As for content, there’s no single point to this blog. It’s become a public journal, perhaps best characterized as me “singing in the shower.” When you show up, click and read, you get whatever’s on my mind that day.

And yet you keep coming back. I’m grateful to you for that.

This year has been different, obviously. It’s been challenging, in many ways difficult. At the same time, and I say this often, these are the best days of my life.

I’m humbled that you choose to read what I have to say about my world.

I have no idea where Ubi Libertas Blog goes from here because, quite honestly, I don’t know where my life will go from here. All I can say with certainty is that I intend to keep writing about it.

Thanks again for coming along for the ride.

Take care of yourselves, Patriots. Stay calm. Stay sharp. Stay free.
