Chillin’ again

I’ll make this brief tonight — first, because I’m posting from my phone; and second, because I’m wiped out. It’s been a long day, and a good one.

The big news, of course, is that Ernie’s new fridge is in. The install went without a hitch, and the staff at the shop was competent and kind. As I write this, the refrigerator section is down to 35 degrees.

Color us relieved.

We’re camped at a public park tonight, a woodsy setting on a large reservoir. We’re sharing a few days with friends from my growing-up years in northeast Ohio.

It’s hot. It’s muggy. It’s Texas.

And we have a new peace as we move forward.
