Last week I caught an interview with Florida’s surgeon general, Joseph Ladapo, on the subject of damage done by mandatory vaxxing (and the dangers of The Jab overall). The network anchor, out of respect, deferred to his guest’s medical education and clinical experience — “I’m not a doctor,” and so on.
Dr. Ladapo’s response began in a way that I didn’t expect.
“It’s very kind of you… to state the fact that you’re ‘not a doctor,’ but it really is ok to believe what your eyes are telling you, and what your ears hear from your neighbors.”
That’s what it looks like when an “expert” knows his place. He understands that each of us has the ability and the Liberty to make our own observations, reach independent conclusions and make decisions right for us.
It’s ok to nod to smart people, of course, and we still have to be intellectually honest as we process what we see and hear — critical thinking is essential — but we decide.
It chaps my ass whenever I see some folks belittling others for expressing personal certainty on issues of the day — “Oh, suddenly you’re an expert on [whatever].” That’s arrogance posing as humility, and what it does is demean common sense.
Ignore those people. If you’re honest enough, you’re plenty smart enough. You don’t need a fuckin’ master’s degree — separate facts from bullshit and make the call as you see it.
So we have this Chinese balloon. It doesn’t belong in US airspace. We can be confident that its purpose is espionage, at the very least, and that for the sake of national security — today and in the future — it must be taken out of our skies, now. Not only is the Pentagon doing deep diplomatic bows to the ChiComs, it’s refusing to tell the American People anything useful about the balloon’s nature, location or path.
At this point, I feel I have to remind you that I’m the only person you know with direct, personal experience in shooting down a large, wayward helium balloon.
And yet you understand that a country without sovereign airspace (or secure borders) isn’t a country at all. You have the good sense to know that an invading enemy aircraft must be brought down, just as millions of invading illegals must be repelled. You recognize feckless “leadership” when it struts and frets in front of us.
You can believe your own eyes and ears.
Take care of yourselves, Patriots. Stay calm. Stay sharp. Stay free.
